Active Learning Activities Really Work for Students in ECoS Courses

If you have asked yourself these questions, this workshop is for you:

What is an “active learning” activity? Does active learning in the classroom really improve student performance/ learning? Can you give me some examples of how active learning is being used in ECoS classes?  How do you measure if an active learning activity helps students achieve a goal?  Is active learning something I should be promoting in my classroom?
