This seminars focuses on strategies to reduce uncivil behavior in both the large and small classroom, thus promoting an inclusive positive learning climate. Faculty often face issues of incivility in the classroom, but how to effectively deal with these issues is not always obvious. Studies have shown that this behavior is not only irksome to the instructor but also has strong effects on the rest of the students.

If you cannot make it to the McAllister Building for the presentation, you may watch the presentation live via Adobe Connect.  If you are interested in doing so, please contact Brian Young, ( so you can be added to the seminar.
